Premonition
A license plate data organization service for Predator and Predator Fabric
Premonition is hard-coded to restrict users to 500 unique plates to prevent abuse. Users with legitimate use-cases (parking enforcement, property security, etc.) must request an override. V0LT uses geofencing, plate count limits, and data retention limits to prevent abuse. Premonition does not permit uninformed surveillance, or mass data collection on public roads.
While premonition is capable of organizing thousands of plates, users who wish to store more than a few hundred must request an override to prevent abuse and enforce oversight.
Premonition works with both static and mobile Predator installations, and keeps track of date, time, and location information.
Premonition is a tool designed to collect and organize information from private Predator or Predator Fabric instances. Premonition makes it easy to import data, search for ALPR hits, and organize historical results. However, Premonition is not designed to process large amounts of data from a mass surveillance system, and has built-in safe-guards that limit how much data can be collected. Users with more extensive needs (such as business owners and law enforcement agencies) are required to submit an override request with their requirements. V0LT uses geofencing, data rention limits, and plate count limits to enforce stated use-cases and prevent surveillance.
