Back-Up Camera

Add a reverse camera to a car that didn't originally come with one.

Nearly all modern cars have back-up cameras, but older cars may not include the feature.

Affordable

OEM back-up camera options often cost hunderds of dollars. An aftermarket solution is a much more affordable option.

Safe

Having a back-up camera allows you to see areas behind your car that would otherwise be obscured.

Integrated

V0LT back-up camera installations are tuned to your specific car, and have guidelines to make backing into tight spaces as easy as possible.

Reliable

V0LT uses wired back-up cameras, which are more time consuming to install, but much more reliable and less prone to connection issues than wireless systems.

Customizable

With an aftermarket camera system you aren't locked into a single setup option. You get to select the mounting location and method.

Repairable

V0LT doesn't use proprietary software or hardware, meaning your camera system can be upgraded or repaired by anyone with the technical experience.

Camera

The camera is the core of a back-up camera system, and it determines the quality of the image.

  • 1080p resolution
  • Rear LED illumination
  • 150 degree lens
  • Waterproof

Power

Here you can chose how you want your camera system to be powered.

  • If you want a reliable, affordable power supply method, this is a great option.
  • This option will use up a free cigarette lighter port.

  • If you want a clean, integrated installation, this is an option to consider.
  • This option doesn't use up any existing outlets in your car.

Wiring

For a back-up camera to be useful, there needs to be wiring connecting the camera to the display. Here's where you can choose how you want your camera's wiring to be installed.

    • This method of wiring uses the same reliable components as the higher end options, but isn't as concealed.
    • Wires will be tucked under body panels and interior elements for a cleaner look, but there may be wire runs that can't be fully concealed.
    • This method of wiring is much more time consuming, and involves removing body panels to make wiring as concealed as possible.
    • Complete concealment can't be guaranteed, but it's almost always possible to completely hide all wiring from view.

Switch

Unlike OEM back-up cameras, aftermarket cameras can be activated regardless of the motion of the car. Here you can select how you want your back-up camera to be activated.

    • If you chose the "cigar lighter" power method, you can simply use a button on the plug itself to toggle the camera.
    • This is an open switch that sticks out between body panels of the car.
    • This method is durable and reliable, but won't look as OEM as higher options.
    • If you care about practicality, this is a great option.
    • This switch uses the same components as the open switch, but is embedded in body panels of the vehicle.
    • This is a great option if you care about the appearance of the switch, and want it to integrate with the interior of your car.
